2017 Honda Civic Si Wins at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park

There is good news for the upcoming 2017 Honda Civic Si, the Shea Racing team won Sunday's Pirelli World Cup Touring Car A race at CTMP.

It was not an easy road for the team. The Saturday race was stopped after excessive track repairs could not be made after a collision to restart it. This put the Shea team in fourth place, and seeing as the 2017 Honda Civic Si is not available yet, finding parts to repair it would be difficult. They managed the repair by using parts off of a Honda of Canada Associate racing team member's 2017 Honda Civic Si.

With car repairs in the rearview, the team now had to worry about the rain that was relenting closer and closer to race time. A decision had to be made about which tires to use: rain tires or slick tires. The team chose to use slick tires which paid off seeing as the majority of the race ended up being dry.

While awaiting the upcoming 2017 Honda Civic Si, come over to Cawood Honda in Port Huron to look at our currently available lineup of Honda vehicles!
