The Honda CR-V is a popular and important vehicle for the Japanese automaker. As one of their top three selling models, they’ve put it through four generational updates since it arrived in 1997, and now, they’re updating it to its fifth. With new styling and Honda Sensing available across the board, not to mention a first-ever turbo engine, it’s definitely moving up in the world.
For 2017, Honda has restyled the CR-V with a refined front end lit by standard daytime running lights, and LED headlamps available on the top trim. Honda Sensing is available on all trim grades, and the interior features two new screens. For power, the CR-V is getting the Civic’s 1.5-liter turbo, tuned to put out 190 horsepower. The outgoing model’s 2.4-liter engine will also remain available. Gas mileage figures have yet to be released.
